Insecticidal Soap Spray
I am using Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Pure-Castile Soap to prevent insects from eating my plants. The soap will break down the bugs' natural coating and dehydrate them. The recipe I am using is: 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) in a quart (1 L) of water. Spray plants twice daily, in the cool of the day, until infestation clears. Tip: add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon or cayenne to deter future infestations.

Regrowing Celery
Cut the end of your celery and place it on a bowl of water, propped up with toothpicks. Just after two weeks I am beginning to see it grow. I will have to move it into soil once it gets a little taller.
